1. Small flange technological process

   Small flange, can be forged directly by open type forging or closed type forging process,adopts medium frequency induction furnace heating,for stainless steel material,the induction furnace heating is low effective,it is better adopting anther heating method.The forging process includes preforging and finally forging,can be finished on one hammer or screw press,the preforging process can choose to be finished on another equipment,then trimming and punching after finally forging.

2. Medium flange technological process

   Medium flange, can be forged directly or rolling,choose right furnace type according to flange weight and material.The directly forging process includes preforging and finally forging,can be done on different equipment.Preforging adopts open die forging or closed die forging,finally forging adopts hammer or press.For rolling process,adopts tire forging to make blank or on large closed die forging hammer or screw press,rolling after making blank.

3. Large flange technological process

   Large flange line is made up by special hydraulic press, CNC ring rolling machine and charger. It is always heating by room-type forging furnace or trolley-type forging furnace.Charger clamp material on special press for upsetting,punching and transfer to CNC ring rolling machine for rolling.

The materials of flange are carbon steel or stainless steel. The stainless steel has bad heat and magnetic conduction，It is inefficiency to use medium frequency induction furnace，can use gas furnace for heating. The small flange is largely needed,can use automatic line. The mechanical press or electric screw press for preforging, and electric screw for finally forging, mechanical press for trimming and punching. When preforging the medium flange by open die forging with tire die, the operating person should be highly skilled. The workers have great labour intensity . The hydraulic press for large flange is special equipment,should be upsetting, punching and pre formingin on one machine.the ring rolling machine is high efficiency and good precision.
